Luminescence: Sacred Sound Journey
Contributing Sound Healer/Artist Agreement
This Agreement is entered between you (Guest Sound Performer) and Liza F. Camba (Sat-Akal), for the Luminescence sound event held on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, from 7pm-10pm, at The York Manor with arrival time at 630-7pm. This Agreement also includes a minimum amount of promotional efforts leading up to the event.
SERVICE YOU AGREE TO PROVIDE:
You agree to play your sound healing instrument for the Luminescence audience on Thursday, Dec. 21.

YOUR COMMITMENT ALSO ENTAILS:
Promotional / Marketing Efforts
1. Facebook Invitations. Please share this event widely amongst your network, family, friends, co-workers, colleagues, and neighbors. So far, Facebook and word-of-mouth is our main method promoting Luminescence. We strongly encourage ALL performers to invite at least 200 of your social media / Facebook / Instagram friends as a bare minimum. If you have a newsletter, you can also email your list. Remember you will receive an additional $3-5 per full-paying patron who is your guest.
2. Facebook Posts / Engagement. Please post at least 1-2X on the Facebook Event Page in the days leading up to the event. You can also “like” posts.ppropriate, leading up to the event).
3. Discount Tickets. Please strive to make use of all four of your discount tickets. You are being given 4 pairs of tickets that are a 2-for-1, or 2-for-$25. You also get One (1) Complimentary ticket. If you are unable to get them to paying customers, perhaps another performer can use the tickets to give to other friends and family. Please email at lizacambaservices@gmail.com, IM on Facebook, or text me at 323-828-4947 with the names on your discounted guest list.
4. Attitude. Maintaining a positive attitude throughout our planning and collaborating journey. Luminescence is not just a night of sound - it is a movement of healing, creative expansion, and community support. If any issues or concerns arise, please contact Sat-Akal to discuss them so we can correct it sooner than later and enjoy the Luminescence journey with ease.
5. Arrive On Time. Please strive to arrive by 630pm or earlier and no later than 6:45pm. Doors will be opened at 7pm. Especially if this is your first time performing at a Luminescence event, it's imperative to arrive early to avoid traffic on the busy York Blvd, to find parking, allot for the walk to the venue from your parking spot, getting acquainted with the space, setting up, and also a 10-minute prep meeting before the event.

ATTIRE:
Luminescence is a Brand. We aim to project the feeling tone of elevation, self-love, authentic connection, relaxation, and vibrancy. Luminescence is also a family-friendly event. Please dress neatly, comfortably, and also professionally as you represent Luminescence when you are sharing your work at Luminescence events. Please err on the side of modesty. We suggest a nice solid attire (white or black) or something earthy, and an accent of any of the following colors is encouraged (only if possible): Royal purple, emerald green, bright teal, navy blue, deep mahogany, or gold - bright royal colors or earthy is what we are aiming for. Please no printed brand names or images or skin tight clothing.
CANCELLATIONS:
Please let Sat-Akal know ASAP if you are unable to participate on the date you agreed. As a courtesy, the sooner you let us know the sooner we can find a replacement with ease. If you have a referral for your replacement, this would be very much appreciated as a last minute replacement can be challenging to fill at times. We also take great care to offer a Luminescence spot to sound practitioners with an established healing practice, teachers from the kundalini yoga tradition, or someone who comes highly recommended to us.
INTENTION, VISION, MISSION:
The intention of Luminescence is to fill a need in our community that is void of the sacred and the power of self-healing through sound and creativity. We do this by bringing together passionate sound healers / sound artists and creating a seasonal ritual that highlights a sense of community, and that spotlights the power of sound as a vehicle in support of creativity, self-healing, and deep relaxation. This idea continues in different forms of Luminescence every month at a smaller, more intimate scale.

***Please note, your communication and follow-through with these agreed-upon expectations will be strongly considered when we are planning and considering invitations for future Luminescence events.

A.) Payment and Schedule
Financial Benefit
- Base Pay = You will receive a flat rate of $25 for your participation unless specified otherwise
- Plus $5 per *full-paying guest (*Full-Paying is the full $25 Early Bird Rate or $35 Day-Of Rate.)
- If you invite anyone who fits the “Community” category (senior citizen, vet, firefighter, student, yoga teacher), you will receive $3/person.
- In order to receive the additional sum per guest, your guests must indicate at the ticket booth at the start of the event not after, that they were invited by you.
- Payments will be dispersed within 1 month of the event.
B.) Other Perks
Comp/Discount Tickets
- One (1) complimentary ticket good for One Person
- Four (4) Discount Tickets (four tickets that are 2-for-1, or 2 for $25)
C.) Other Benefits
By participating in Luminescence, you will gain additional benefits:
- You will gain visibility by being part of the marketing campaign in social media, thus giving you and your services more exposure. This includes your face, bio, services, and contact info which will be circulated far and wide as a result of our marketing efforts.
- You will have the opportunity to market your business/ services directly at the event by providing promotional flyers/brochures/business cards about your services or other events you are creating, or endorsing. If you have questions about this, you can contact Liza beforehand. These materials can be given out at the ticket booth or displayed on an adjacent table.
- Participating in Luminescence is an introduction to the growing movement of Luminescence and its other brands: The Sacred Yes, Artful Living Movement, and Create 2 Liberate. Your successful participation in Luminescence is an opportunity that may bridge into other programs affiliated with Luminescence, its executive producer, and our partners.

- I, Liza F. Camba/Sat Akal, as the Executive Producer of Luminescence, reserve the right to make any changes necessary to this Agreement, verbally or in writing, which would be applied to the next scheduled Luminescence event.
- By signing this contract, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
